EX3, Inc. (“EX3,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. We collect only what we need to run our website, deliver our Assessment, and understand how we can serve you better. We never sell, lease, or distribute your information.

Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you choose to give us, and basic usage data gathered automatically.

Information you provide through the Assessment. When you complete the EX3 Assessment, we collect your answers along with any details you enter, such as:

• Name, email address, job title, and company name
• Company details such as industry, size, and role in decision-making
• Your responses about your organization’s processes, technology, and use of AI
• Any comments or notes you add

Information you provide in other ways. If you contact us, request a conversation, or subscribe to updates, we collect the details you share, such as your name, email, and message.

Information collected automatically. Through Google Analytics and similar tools, we collect standard usage data, such as pages visited, time on site, referring website, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region, based on IP address). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use your information for two purposes: to create a better experience for our visitors, and to explore opportunities to work together. Specifically, we use it to:

• Generate and deliver your Assessment results
• Follow up about your results and discuss how EX3 might help your organization
• Respond to your questions and requests
• Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content, navigation, and the Assessment itself
• Identify aggregate trends across Assessment responses to improve our services and insights; any trends we share publicly are anonymized and never identify you or your company
• Send occasional updates, if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored in your browser) to collect usage data, which Google processes on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

We do not use Google Analytics to collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information, and we do not combine analytics data with your Assessment answers to profile you across other websites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can limit or opt out of this tracking at any time:

• Block or delete cookies through your browser settings
• Use your browser’s “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control setting

Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the site or completing the Assessment.

We do not sell or share your data

EX3 does not sell, lease, rent, trade, or distribute your personal information to anyone, for any purpose. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your information is accessed only in these limited cases:

• Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us operate the site, host the Assessment, send email, or run analytics (such as Google) process data only on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, and not for their own marketing.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of EX3, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If EX3 is involved in a merger or acquisition, your information would remain protected under the terms of this policy.

Data retention and security

We keep Assessment responses and contact information only as long as needed to serve you and pursue a potential working relationship, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings in our Analytics account.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. At any time, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Delete your information, including your Assessment responses
• Stop sending you emails (use the unsubscribe link or contact us)

Depending on where you live, including California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, such as the right to data portability or to object to certain processing. Where the GDPR applies, we process Assessment data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you and exploring a business relationship.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children’s privacy

Our site and Assessment are intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy
